I’m trying to use my parents old singer sewing machine, but i don’t understand the bobbin bit of it?
I’m not sure how old it is the the bobbins really weird. There’s a metal bit that comes out (I don’t know how to put it back in) that’s shaped like a pen nib. and the bobbin fits inside there. But I don’t no what to do ?

this could be harder to explane that to actually do… that tab needs to be pulled out…. you can use it to hold the bobbin… then insert it where it belongs and then push the little tab down into the tab…now, threading it is another story all together….Good luck….
