What kind of AC adapter does the Acer Aspire One use? What do I need to look for in a replacement?

I believe the acer one takes a 65 watt adapter. If that is the case than you can buy universals or purchase one from the manufacturer. I think universals can give somewhat shoddy performance so I would either order your real adapter through acer.com or call the retailer that sold you the laptop because they generally also have a part search line which will get you the exact part you need. Universals are also a bit pricey but you can purchase them at retailers like Circuit City or Best Buy they range from 90 to 150 dollars. Through acer your looking at a longer wait time but prolly at least 30 bucks cheaper.
